Children's Day

           

Fairy tales with fairies and dragons, a world of stories, puppets and drawings!

You are invited on 29 May to celebrate together Children's Day and the wonderful world of childhood.

Our guest from Romania is Alina Darian, author of storybooks, who will take us to the fantastic world of fairy tales. Let us listen to and invent stories, draw and make puppets and masks, all through games! Come At home in Belgrave Square!

Between 13.30-15.00, parents are invited to the Brancusi Room for discussions on children and their needs.

The event is organised by the Romanian Cultural Institute in partnership with the School of Romanian Culture and Tradition and the Romānca Society.

Children's Day is the third event in the new programme of the Romanian Cultural Institute in London called At Home in Belgrave Square. The series, running under the patronage of HE Dr. Ion Jinga, the Ambassador of Romania, aims to support and develop the initiatives of Romanian community in Great Britain. 1 Belgrave Square - the headquarters of the Romanian Cultural Institute in London - will become an open space for valuable projects of the Romanian community. The events in this programme are intended to contribute to preserving Romanian cultural and linguistic identity and will be organised in partnership with Romanian associations in the UK.
