Meet Bogdan Tiganov Sunday 27th September 2009, 5 pm
Bogdan Tiganov will read from The Wooden Tongue Speaks- Romanians: Contradictions & Realities - a collection of short stories and poems published in 2008. You’re all welcome to join us, so see you at The Stinging Nettle! Bogdan Tiganov is a writer and artist, born in Braila, Romania, on August 1, 1981, and it was there that he started his lifelong interest in the arts by attending the Nicolai Balcescu School of Music at the age of seven, learning to play piano as well as composing. In London, UK, he studied visual arts under the supervision of Don Pavey, world-renowned expert on colour. He finished writing and illustrating his first book by the time he was fourteen and received considerable interest from leading children’s book publishers.
