The Romanian Cultural Institute in London welcomes applications for volunteer work.

We are a dynamic not-for-profit state-funded organization that promotes Romanian arts and civilization through international partnerships.

We would be happy to give young professionals the opportunity to gain practical experience in the real-life day-to-day management of cultural projects and general office/administrative skills, while also developing cultural awareness and understanding of Romanian cultural identity in a European context.

The institute offers candidates a friendly and stimulating work environment, invitations to arts events in and outside London and opportunities for networking in the exciting world of arts. We also provide a referral letter upon completion of the internship.

Internships are entirely voluntary, and the intern will be expected to be self-supporting.

Work assignments will provide hands-on involvement in specific projects, ranging from research, report preparation, translations to correspondence, filing, database management and hospitality. Interns will work in those particular areas where they have strengths.

The duration of internship is flexible, aiming to have a minimum of two weeks office practice. We also offer event based work stages.

Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in Romanian is a big plus.
