The Song That Never Ends - a Constantin Silvestri Celebration @ ICR London Join us for an exquisite musical journey celebrating the prowess of composer and conductor Constantin Silvestri, the man behind Bournemouth Orchestra's international career. The evening is part of the Invitation to Composers project run by acclaimed pianist Anda Anastasescu and co-funded by EU, aimed at encouraging young composers to write new works. The evening also features the launching of the book Constantin Silvestri, Magician. A View from the Orchestra by Raymond Carpenter and the screening of an unique film with Constantin Silvestri conducting the French National Radio Orchestra.

Stuff and Dough @ Romanian Cinematheque Do not miss a suspenseful pseudo-crime thriller that follows three youngsters into a dangerous world. Made in 2001, this is critically acclaimed Cristi Puiu's debut feature film that changed Romanian cinema forever. Winner of FIPRESCI prize at the Thessaloniki Film Festival, best actor and best feature film.

In the Light of Utopia Painting, sculpture and installation from pioneers of Romanian experimental art of the late 1960s and their today's followers, in a rare, unmissable and eye-opening exhibition curated by Ileana Pintilie, former Attic Arts resident. Featuring: Stefan Bertalan, Roman Cotosman, Constantin Flondor, Liliana Mercioiu-Popa, Paul Neagu, Sorin Neamtu, Sasha-Liviu Stoianovici and Doru Tulcan.

Dana Popa @ Europe House The award-winning Romanian photographer takes part in the EUNIC exhibition Active Witness at Europe House, celebrating the European Year of Volunteering. The exhibition features 26 works by photographers representing 26 participating countries. Curated by Simon Baker (Tate Modern) and Ines de Bordas.

Pianist Andrei Licaret @ St Martin in the Fields We are happy to continue our long-term partnership with St Martin in the Fields as music prodigy Andrei Licaret will perform in the Pianist of the World Series, a programme featuring talented young pianists from all the corners of the globe. Andrei's recital includes Enescu's Toccata and Pavana from Suite Op.10.

Vera Ion & Sorin Poama @ Attic Arts The duo take up the ICR London Attic Arts residency to develop a theatre project documenting Romanian street artists' work on the Southbank and in Covent Garden.

The Romanian Library Over 1,000 volumes in Romanian and English of fiction and non-fiction, art albums, dictionaries, textbooks for learning the Romanian language, guidebooks and children's books. A joint initiative of the Embassy of Romania and the Romanian Cultural Institute in London.
