Dear friends of Romanian culture,

After four intense and rewarding years in Poland, I am taking over as director of our institute in London.

I am very proud and humbled to be working, together with my colleagues, to build key and lasting links between British and Romanian individuals and institutions and to generate a stronger presence of the Romanian artistic creativity throughout the UK.

We are no less committed to work with our Embassy and all relevant partners in order to fulfill the cultural needs of our fellow Romanians living in the UK.

No matter how difficult and demanding, my task now is infinitely easier thanks to the extraordinary dedication of my predecessor, Ms Gabriela Massaci. Gabriela’s vision and remarkable achievements constitute a firm foundation that can sustain even the most daring initiatives.
Our cultural programme therefore will retain the same essential qualities that have succeeded to capture your interest. We hope that you will find our propositions as substantial, exciting, and informative as they have been so far.

I look forward to be greeting you at our events and to enjoy together what Romanian culture has best to offer.

Sincerely yours,

Dorian Branea
