It has been great to see so many of you at our events last month – including our autumn-leaves re-launch party on 27 November! Building things with small teams can be exhausting but your new interest in Romanian arts&culture makes it all worthwhile. Thank you for your encouragement & friendship: they really keep us going

- 1 December 2006-31 January 2007: Chronology - the first UK solo exhibition of the internationally-acclaimed Romanian artist Lia Perjovschi. Where: Gallery Yujiro, London. Admission: free.
- 5-11 December: Offset 2005 & AV Night - exhibition, presentation, performance and AV clubbing event. Where: Romanian Cultural Institute. Admission: free by reservation.
- 7 December: Poetry Meets Jazz - performance by famous Romanian actor Ion Caramitru and sophisticated jazz pianist Johnny Raducanu. Where: Romanian Cultural Institute. Admission: free by reservation.
- 8 December: Back to the Roots - flamboyant music concert by 18-strong Damian&Brothers brass-band led by Grammy-winner pan flutist Damian Draghici. Where: Battersea Arts Centre, Grand Hall, Lavender Hill, London SW11 5TF. Admission: free by reservation.
- 10 December: Mozart, Silvestri, Ligeti - piano concert by Mihaela Ursuleasa and the Virtuosos Chamber Orchestra from Bucharest conducted by Horia Andreescu. Where: Cadogan Hall, 5 Sloane Terrace, London SW1X 9DQ. Admission: we have a limited number of complimentary tickets - going fast!
- 11 December: Young Romanian Musicians in London - violin & piano concert by Tudor Andrei and Peter Limonov. Where: St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London. Admission: free.
- 12 December: Afterplay - theatre performance of Irish playwright Brian Friel's play, with Tania Filip and Adrian Titieni, directed by Mihai Bratila. Where: Romanian Cultural Institute London. Admission: free by reservation.
