Mukka band in Leeds

A very lively touch of Romanian arts will compliment the opening ceremony of the Romanian Honorary Consulate in Leeds.

A highly successful mix of British & Romanian talent, Mukka are the ultimate live band, whisking their audience on a whirlwind journey through deepest Transylvanian melancholy to joyful abandon, whipped up by frenetic Balkan instrumentals. The result is a most exciting example of highly original music, which spans east and west and where new compositions sit alongside reworking of traditional tunes sourced from all over the Balkans and the Middle East.

The event is organised by the Romanian Cultural Institute in London.
