ERASMUS Euromedia Award

10 October 2008;

The Romanian Cultural Institute in London was awarded the Erasmus Euromedia Seal and Medal for:

  • In the Making: A new Kind of Romanian Invasion (2007; 6min)

The Erasmus EuroMedia Awards are the oldest European media prizes for outstanding didactic multimedia products. They are given to productions which support social and cultural integration in Europe and thus make a contribution to cultural education here. A 12-member jury composed of international experts from the media, education, science and IT sectors judged 250 entries and chose the award-winners from them.

The European Society for Education and Communication (ESEC), with the Viennese professor of journalism, Thomas A. Bauer, as its president, is a society of media academics and experts from 23 European countries. Together with the Press and Information Service of the City of Vienna, it gives out the renowned Erasmus EuroMedia Awards each year.
