Romania's first DJ

DJ Vasile was the first to approach DJing and mixing music in Romania. In the early 90s he set up a pirate radio station broadcasting a bewilding mix of music. This was the beginning of the Romanian Underground Scene.

He subsequently went on to create & work with Romania's most successful electronic underground musical projects such as Suie Paparude (1995), NSK (1997), Nemos (2001), Shukar Collective (2003). Widely acknowledge as the "The Boss" of Romanian DJs, he has attracted attention beyond Romania's borders (in Paris or Lisbon).

With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute, DJ Vasile is now ready to meet the London scene. Step on at Favela Chic Club.
