Mihai Ritivoiu: An Exceptional Display of Perfect Technique and Outstanding Talent
This April concert in our much awaited Enescu series is an exceptional display of instrumental mastery, perfect technique and outstanding talent, all of them epitomized by the pianist Mihai Ritivoiu. The winner of the prestigious "George Enescu" scholarship offered by RCI, the formidable musician will deliver a superb programme joining great composers Ravel, Chopin and Couperin in an inimitably beautiful performance together with works of Schubert, D. Dediu and, of course, G. Enescu.

In addition to his solo recitals and concerto appearances, Mihai has a rich chamber music activity, most notably as duo partner of the cellist Yoanna Prodanova. Their duo has performed in the UK, France and The Netherlands, and they have been invited to festivals such as Les Rencontres de Violoncelle de Bélaye, Alderney International Chamber Music Festival, Orkney International Festival and Buxton International Festival.
