01/07/2012 @ Dray Walk Gallery, next to the Big Chill Bar

Created by architect Ioana Marinescu and visual artist Tapio Snellman, FLUX - Video Reconstruction Of The Urban Perspective is a video projection documenting the ever changing landscape of the Olympic boroughs, which will be screened on some of East End’s most emblematic buildings.

Portraying the London high street, FLUX is a precise yet emotive visual analysis of a city going through a continuous commercial and cultural change. Using Dalston High Street as a representative sample for the entire developmental cycle of a city, the piece maps the dynamics of economic and demographic process in a continuous elevational shot.

Project part of ROlympics - The Romanian Cultural Programme during the London 2012 Olympic Season.
