'No Frontiers - a Fusion of Romanian Culture and the World'.

09/12/2021 @ Romanian Cultural Institute in London, 1 Belgrave Square, SW1X8PH

We are delighted to announce that the next concert at the Romanian Cultural Institute is on Thursday 9th December, starting from 18:30: the recital 'No Frontiers - a Fusion of Romanian Culture and the World'.

The musicians are from different parts of the world, coming together to create a magical evening. Each of David Balica's compositions contains a wide array of styles which are connected to Romania; whether it be through melody, words, soundscape or aesthetic. His works encompass the magic of the Latin-based languages, and some are tributes to one of the most acclaimed Romanian poets, Mihai Eminescu whereas the instrumental trios and quartets of the night will revisit various folk melodies from villages in Transylvania, Moldova and Wallachia.

Join us on December 9th at 18:30, as we celebrate the magical and unique ambience that musical fusions create.

Several amazing musicians who will be joining talent and technique: Harshita Parekh, Joshua Furtado Mendes, Beatriz Sanches, Congling Wu, Stefan Weidner, Arnaldo Cogorno, Yiolanda Loizou, Joy Hunneyball, Ana Sofia Nunes and David Balica.
